I am sorry, Pattye, that you are the scapegoat for some of our supervisors. I thank you, though, for standing up for what is right. As hard as it must be for you, I applaud you, and I certainly appreciate all that you are doing.

I was at the meeting last night. With all the figures that were floating around I took home the fact that 1.5$ is not a huge gap that cannot be filled. Our neighboring school districts filled their gaps a couple of years ago by reaching out to not for profit organizations and fundraising efforts through silent auctions etc. All this was through the efforts of parents and students coalitions. Are any efforts like these in the process? Have we exhausted all the means and ways before we take the path of demotion of our brightest and the best teachers?
